Getting Ready

Sathya and Landon each spent the morning getting ready with their wedding party. The bride used her longtime makeup artist, Vantha Beauty, for the bridal party’s makeup. And Regal Beauty Artistry styled everyone’s hair.

Sathya wore a gorgeous mermaid wedding dress with small dots and intricate beadwork for a showstopping look. Landon kept his look classic in a lux black and white tuxedo combination.

Details + Ceremony

The couple’s wedding was at The Commune at The Ace Hotel Palm Springs. In our early meetings, the bride and groom described their vision for their wedding day as upscale, relatable, and fun. They also wanted to incorporate as much of the Palm Springs vibe as possible. After discovering the couples’ love of Mid Century Modern design, we opted to incorporate that into the design. The final product was a desert glam wedding with mid-century modern details.

The ceremony was at The Ace Hotel Palm Springs. And an eye-catching diamond structure was the backdrop for the wedding ceremony. Floral details and candles were carefully placed in the aisle way, and a string quartet played softly in the background as the wedding party processed down the aisle. After Sathya and Landon exchanged heartfelt personal vows and recessed down the aisle, wedding guests were given dried flowers to toss at the end of the ceremony.

The Reception

The reception began with a grand entrance and the first dance for the bride and groom. Immediately following, wedding guests enjoyed a Khmer Classical Dance, a Cambodian ballet renowned for its graceful hand gestures and stunning costumes. The dance is a traditional Cambodian ceremonial blessing to the bride and groom. It was such a personal and unique touch that every guest enjoyed!

Overall, the evening was filled with so much love and respect for Sathya and Landon; it was evident how happy everyone was to celebrate with the happy couple. Later in the evening, Sathya changed into a fun fringe dress. And the newlyweds spent the entire night on the dance floor alongside their wedding guests. It was such a memorable wedding in sunny Palm Springs.
